Integration VIA GTM

Integrating Gardrobo A.I. widgets via Google Tag Manager (GTM) follows a similar approach to the Integration via Scripts method. The same scripts are used, but GTM provides an additional layer of flexibility by allowing you to manage and deploy these scripts through a centralized platform.

This method is ideal for teams that want to:

  • Maintain a clean and manageable codebase by avoiding direct edits to website files.

  • Quickly adjust, test, or update widget scripts without involving developers.

  • Use GTM triggers and tags for more granular control over script execution.

How It Works

  1. Prepare the Scripts Use the same widget scripts provided for direct integration. These scripts are compatible with GTM and will execute seamlessly once deployed.

  2. Create a Custom HTML Tag Add the widget script as a Custom HTML Tag in your GTM account. This tag will serve as the integration point for deploying GardeRobo A.I. widgets across your site.

  3. Set Up Triggers Configure GTM triggers to control when and where the widget scripts are loaded. Common triggers include:

    • Page View: Load widgets on specific pages (e.g., PDP, Category Page, Checkout).

    • Custom Events: Load widgets in response to specific user actions or website events.

  4. Publish and Test After configuring the tag and triggers, publish the changes in GTM and use the Preview Mode to verify the integration.

Benefits of Using GTM

  • Flexibility: Easily manage and update widget scripts without modifying website code.

  • Speed: Deploy updates faster, enabling quick iteration and testing.

  • Scalability: Manage scripts for multiple websites or sections of a site within a single GTM account.
